Bank of Valletta has warned that some ATMs in central and southern areas may be out of service as the its network service provider faces technical issues.
In a post on Facebook, Malta’s largest bank apologised for the inconvenience to customers and said the impacted ATMs will be back in service once these network issues are resolved.
Major telecoms provider GO announced earlier on Thursday that it was suffering service disruption in central and southern areas caused by unrelated third party works that damaged its infrastructure close to Gudja.
“We fully understand how frustrating these situations are. We are doing all we can to reconnect you as quickly as is reasonably possible. We apologise for this disruption and will continue to update you on the situation as soon as information reaches us.”
