Property in several towns in Gozo saw the biggest price increase compared to the previous quarter, according to Djar.
A report by the website, which tracks the price of property in Malta, revealed that the tiny village of Kercem saw the biggest increase, namely 1.95 per cent. This was followed by Zebbug (1.84 per cent), Munxar (1.57 per cent), Sannat (1.37 per cent), and Nadur (1.26 per cent).
Conversely, property in Dingli, Qrendi, Lija, Senglea and Gudja registered the biggest decrease in price.
This month’s Djar report focused on the town of Dingli. According to the report, 54 per cent of property in the town consists of apartments, with penthouses and maisonettes making up another 14 per cent each, and the rest being terraced houses, townhouses and duplexes.
In terms of the finishing of properties, 69 per cent were finished, 19 per cent were shell properties, and the remaining 12 per cent were furnished.
Last month, a report by the National Statistics Office revealed that the highest number of final deeds of sale related to residential property, amounting to 162, were recorded in Gozo.
