Ryanair, Europe’s leading low-cost airline by passenger numbers, achieved a new milestone in August 2024. The airline reported an eight per cent increase in passenger traffic, welcoming a record-breaking 20.5 million guests in a single month.

The growth is underscored by the airline’s continued expansion across Europe, driven by strong demand for air travel during the peak summer season, as it operated over 111,800 flights in August.

With an emphasis on offering low fares and a large array of destinations, Ryanair has positioned itself as the airline of choice for budget-conscious travellers.

Looking ahead, Ryanair’s focus remains on expanding its fleet, increasing capacity, and exploring new market opportunities. With ambitious plans for further growth, including the addition of new routes and an increase in flight frequencies, Ryanair is poised to continue setting new records in the months to come.
