Tickets are already available on the official skyup.aero website:

  • Kyiv – Malta: from €39* without luggage
  • Malta – Kyiv from €40* without luggage

Addressing the uncertainties around flying in view of COVID, SkyUp said that even in case of flight cancellation due to pandemic restrictions, the full amount of ticket price will be transferred to the passenger’s balance in the personal account on our website.

“We also provided the opportunity to withdraw money from the balance to the card.”

This follows a recent announcement by flydubai of a Malta-Dubai route, to also start from this May.

With members of the business community and the Central Bank of Malta identifying that nearly half of Malta’s air routes have been wiped off the map in less than a year due to the pandemic, new routes are welcome news to tourism, investment and business sectors.
